Each year, Donegal Trout Unlimited offers special Millport Conservancy Fishing Buttons for purchase. Buttons are available at chapter meetings, local fly shops and/or by contacting Marlan Nolt, Coordinator at 717-419-8410 or email@example.com.
Purchasing a Millport Conservancy button gives members access to a stocked, restored section of Lititz Run in Warwick Township, which is a barbless hook, catch and release, fly fishing haven. Those who have fished this section of Lititz Run always enjoy a peaceful section of pristine stream restored through the tireless efforts of members, local partners, and community volunteers.
The award winning model watershed restoration of the Millport section began in 1995, and the property now houses the Donegal Trout Unlimited native tree nursery as well as Millport Conservancy’s educational space in a restored barn, trails, meadows, woodlands, and more. While the property is maintained by the Millport Conservancy and Franklin and Marshall College, the funds from buttons are used to supplement the continued conservation of Millport Conservancy land and water resources, and structures.
